Verde on Smith

On Saturday a group of fifteen brunchers went to the restaurant Verde on Smith in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn for a Birthday Celebration. I frequently come to this spot and am never disappointed, so I was excited to bring some family and friends so they could also try it out.
Unfortunately, they weren't that impressed. Maybe the head chef was off that day, but the majority of the food lacked its usual pizazz. I ordered my usual, Salmon with Spinach and Couscous served with a light caper sauce for $18 and I was satisfied.
Probably because I obviously opted for the
bottomless drink option for $16.95 added to your meal. That deal gets you
bottomless Champagne, mimosas, bellinis’ (peach, mango, raspberry, strawberry),
screwdrivers, or Bloody Mary’s for 2hrs.

Don't know if I'll be back anytime soon, but Verde
is a great place for a casual brunch, with strong bottomless drinks!
